It has been a long time since I have had an opt-in on my website or have sent consistent communications to my email list. Partially because we have been really busy with client work and partially because I wanted to do something different.

How This Idea Sparked

I recently completed Seth Godin’s life-changing altMBA program and have been immersed in Seth-land. As I was listening to a 2-hour long interview with Tim Ferris and Seth Godin (this is the link to the interview, but finish reading this first…)

At one point Seth mentioned that he observes things for a living, and that reminded me that one of the lessons I learned in the altMBA was that I find things. Then, at the end of the interview, Tim talked about his weekly Friday email where he shares what was important to him that week. BOOM.

Friday Finds

These two statements were the inspiration for launching Friday Finds, which is a curated compilation of things that we find as we conduct research for our clients and because we like to find things. In addition, we will include unique insights on how you can use this new information, share it, learn something new, or simply be entertained.

I know there is someone out there that is not sleuthing and needs what we find so use it, share it, add your spin, get creative and have fun with this. Be sure to tag us on social media when you share and use the hashtag #FridayFinds and #DonnaFindsThings so we can build a tribe.
