What do you do and why do you do it?

As a DreamBuilder Coach, I am dedicated to helping women achieve their goals and realize their dreams in a shorter timeframe than they could on their own. Through dynamic coaching programs tailored to their specific needs, I help them uncover their dreams and empower them to transform visions into concrete goals.

I provide my clients with the transformative tools, motivation, and guidance to turn those goals into a tangible reality. My coaching approach focuses on breaking free from limiting beliefs and self-sabotage, cultivating authentic confidence, and amplifying their vision. Collectively, we conquer fear, uncertainty, and apprehension, utilizing their present circumstances as catalysts to propel them toward their goals.

Motivational speaking is another service provided as a keynote speaker or workshop leader for your event or organization. This is important to me because I have gone through so many changes in my life on my own. I studied personal development through books and online courses to help me get through the changes. I believe the transitions would have been much faster and smoother with a coach. I believe I would have made other changes in my life with support and guidance. I want to offer that support to women who want or need to make a change in their life.

What changed for you after age 50?

At age 50, I cared for my husband and worked full-time as the sole breadwinner.

At age 60 my husband passed away and I was left wondering who I was and what I wanted in life. The following year I retired early. I then took care of my mom for the next several years until she passed away.

I felt like I lost my identity as a wife, daughter, caregiver, and manager at work. It was time to reinvent who I was. I started taking various online courses and found a beautiful coaching program through Mary Morrissey’s Brave Thinking Institute and I studied for over a year to get my certifications.

What would you tell the 20 or 30-year-old YOU?

I would tell my younger self not to worry about what others think or what others are doing. Go after your dream and what you would love. Don’t settle to conform to what you think is the right thing to do. Do what you want – dance, travel, engage in the arts, meet lots of new people, be adventurous and curious about the world. Learn your values and live by them.

What do you think you’ll tell yourself in retrospect at the end of your life?

Be grateful for all that you accomplished in life.

Know that you made the best decisions you could at the time and as you learned more you made better decisions.

Be proud of the commitments you made and kept such as taking care of your husband and taking care of your mom. Know that you were patient and kind to many.

Be proud that you kept growing and learning through your whole life. You helped many with the knowledge you shared through your commitment to be a life coach. You were courageous to try new things: A new love with Phil in my 60’s, computers early on, music – played piano, ballroom dance, painting and writing a book. You also explored the world by traveling. And through it all you stayed committed to God and your faith.

What impact do you think increased visibility can have on your business?

Increased visibility will allow me to reach more women who feel stuck and can utilize my program to help them move toward a life they would love. My videos will also be more visible to anyone who can learn from them whether they take my program or not.

Who or what inspires you and why?

Mary Morrissey inspires me. She is a living example of the powers of spiritual and transformational principles. She is kind and gentle in her approach and filled with knowledge, stories, and examples to help others live their dreams.

I am also inspired by the teachings of Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra. I use Deepak’s meditation application almost daily to help me start the day in the right mindset. And Wayne has a way of explaining complex ideas in a fun and easy way.
