Michele Reynolds – 59
Women’s Empowerment Speaker, Author, Entrepreneur
About me
Michele Reynolds is a passionate speaker, entrepreneur, and author dedicated to helping women rediscover their authentic voice and inner strength. With over 27 years of leadership experience in male-dominated industries, Michele has navigated personal and professional challenges that shaped her into the empowering figure she is today.
Her journey began as a young entrepreneur who quickly learned the value of resilience and adaptability. Over the years, Michele faced societal pressures and expectations that required her to suppress parts of herself to succeed. But it was through life’s greatest challenges – facing adversity, navigating uncertainty, and writing her transformative book, Pause Between the Years-that she discovered the power of self-reflection, vulnerability, and authenticity. Michele’s message is simple yet powerful: true strength comes from within, and by embracing our vulnerabilities, we unlock the potential to live our most powerful authentic life.
What do you do and why do you do it?
I inspire and empower others to go within and live their most powerful authentic life. My “Why” – it has been a passion of mine to make a positive impact in the world by sharing my own journey and the lessons I have learned along the way to help others. There is so much power in realizing that each one of us has a unique purpose. When we take the time to go within, we create space for self-discovery. We begin to understand who we truly are beyond the labels and expectations. I hope to create a world where people feel seen, heard and valued for who they truly are.
What changed for you after age 50?
I found myself focusing more on what truly matters…my health, relationships and my purpose in life. I value time more than I ever have before.
What would you tell the 20 or 30-year-old YOU?
Don’t take life so seriously and to have more fun and to be spontaneous and let the little things in life go. Worry less and live in the present moment.
What do you think you’ll tell yourself in retrospect at the end of your life?
I learned powerful lessons from the hardships in my life. I am proud that I followed my passion to be authentically me and help others live their authentic lives. I loved life to its fullest. I am proud of the person I became.
What impact do you think increased visibility can have on your business?
It can open the door to more opportunities and connections and greater influence. it allows connection with likeminded individuals creating a support system and possible collaboration.
Who or what inspires you and why?
Mel Robbins inspires me because she is real and authentic. She openly shares her struggles and vulnerabilities, which makes her very relatable. Her stories carry powerful lessons that we can all learn from.
