THE INTENTIONAL VISIBILITY
METHODOLOGY
don’t burn down all the ships | call in the fleet
Our Methodology
As women over 50, we’re told to burn it all down and start over. Reinvent yourself. Everything you’ve accomplished is irrelevant.
That’s bullshit.
The Intentional Visibility Project is an 8-part framework that shows you how to build strategic visibility on everything you’ve already created, your wisdom, your content, your relationships, and your experience. Instead of starting over, you call in the fleet: seven interconnected pieces that work together. The eighth article walks you through how to create your strategic compass.
This framework represents years of my work woven together, refined through my own evolution and guiding accomplished women through theirs. Below, you’ll see how each piece connects to create visibility that matches the significance of your work.
The Seven Ships in Your Fleet…

Ship One: Intentionality
This is your flagship—the vessel that leads. When you know WHY you’re doing this work, when you’ve done the deep work of understanding your own story and values, every other decision becomes clearer.
Intentionality isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s your navigation system. It’s what helps you say no to opportunities that look good but don’t serve your purpose. It’s what keeps you from random acts of marketing that exhaust you while producing nothing.
Without this ship, you’re adrift.

Ship Two: Architecture
This is your foundation vessel—the one that holds everything else. Like the Fibonacci spiral, it grows and expands, each layer building on what came before.
You’re not building on shaky ground. You’re creating something that lasts because it’s rooted in who you actually are, what you’ve actually accomplished, and what’s actually true about your journey.
This architecture doesn’t crumble when platforms change or algorithms shift. It’s built on what doesn’t change: your wisdom, your values, your story.

Ship 3: Audience Understanding
This is your reconnaissance vessel—the one that helps you see clearly. You are NOT the hero. Your audience is. You’re the guide who’s already been on the journey.
When you deeply understand where your audience is on their hero’s journey, what they value, what they’re seeking—everything else clicks into place. You know what to create, where to show up, how to speak to them.
This ship keeps you from talking to everyone (which means talking to no one) and helps you speak directly to the people who need what you’ve learned.

Ship Four: Wisdom Meets AI
This is your amplification vessel—the one that helps you articulate what you’ve always known. Your decades of earned wisdom meeting AI’s processing power creates something new: articulated wisdom with vocabulary, frameworks, and evidence.
But the wisdom leads. Always.
AI doesn’t replace your intuition, your body’s memory of every pattern you’ve survived. It helps you express it in ways you couldn’t before.
This ship doesn’t replace the others. It amplifies them.

Ship Five: Your Content Mixtape
This is your evidence vessel—the proof you were there. Years of blog posts, interviews, presentations, stories told and untold. When you curate this with the same care you once gave to making actual mixtapes, something profound happens.
You remember who you are.
There’s no version of imposter syndrome that can withstand seeing your own body of work gathered with intention. Those gremlins leave the room one by one.
This ship carries the evidence that you’ve earned your place here.

Ship Six: Tried & New Process
This is your curation vessel—the one that helps you decide what stays, what goes, what gets transformed. The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning for your content and your business.
Not because you’re ending anything, but because you’re beginning something. You’re architecting what’s next, and you can only build on solid ground.
This process isn’t just about organizing content. It’s about reclaiming your value story. Gathering strength from every part of your journey, the fleet, not just a single ship.
This ship turns scattered pieces into strategic architecture.

Ship Seven: PR Relationship Architecture
This is your connection vessel—the one that builds bridges. PR and media relationships aren’t separate from your strategy. They’re woven throughout.
When you listen first, when you approach opportunities as partnerships rather than transactions, when you treat one interview as content architecture rather than a one-time appearance, relationships compound over time.
This ship creates visibility that lasts because it’s built on what doesn’t change: genuine relationships, consistent value, trust built over time.

Ship 8: How Your Fleet Becomes Your Compass
Here’s what most people miss: these seven ships don’t work in isolation. They work together, creating a navigation system that guides every decision.

“Donna is one of the most interesting and incredible people I’ve ever met.
She is brilliant when it comes to PR and visibility for businesses and has helped me see where my gaps are when it comes to my own visibility.
If you are looking for proven strategies to get you published and seen by the audiences you do business with, I highly recommend connecting with her on your strategy.”
“Donna has been my go-to social sage for years. She seamlessly pops onto my team to lead various projects. She has built social media strategies, booked me on podcasts, landed impressive media opportunities, and most recently, she led the redesign of my website.

Hey I'm Donna Cravotta
I’m the Founder and CEO of Cravotta Media Group, and the creator of BeVisible.club and The Real 50 Over 50: The Wisdom Revolution, a weekly livestream series that’s featured over 150 women redefining visibility and success in their Third Act.
After 40 years of working, I hit pause and rebuilt everything.
What emerged was my life’s work: guiding accomplished entrepreneurial women to gather their wisdom, reclaim the parts of their story they’ve left behind, and turn it into a sustainable business that reflects who they are now.
My approach is rooted in strategy, storytelling, and truth.
I guide women as they make sense of what they already have, clarify what’s next, and step into intentional visibility that feels natural, not performative.
This isn’t reinvention. It’s remembering who you are and building a foundation from there.
Because when you’re grounded in your story, visibility stops being something you chase. It’s something you become.
