Lisa Corrado | The Real 50 over 50

About me

Lisa Corrado is a coach who helps women grow their businesses by injecting adventure into their lives. We each get to decide what “adventure” means, and Lisa loves to help her clients connect with whatever expands their horizons. Through this work, clients learn how they can spend less time working and more time playing while amplifying the impact they have.

Her super powers include crafting new strategies, implementing supportive systems, and nurturing the spirit needed to grow and thrive. Lisa has over 20 years of experience running her own businesses and knows just how much courage it takes to be an entrepreneur. Lisa is a passionate adventurer who’s happiest with a pack on her back. Her travels have taken her along the Camino de Santiago, into (and out of) the Grand Canyon, up and down summits like Mount Washington and Mount Kilimanjaro, and along the Salkantay Pass in Chile. Her most recent adventure is moving to Boulder, Colorado to renovate her dream home.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Lisa planning her next trip or asking herself “Do I really need to buy another backpack?”

What do you do and why do you do it?

I help women grow their business by injecting adventure into their lives. Together, we find how they can spend less time working and more time playing while amplifying the impact they have.

What changed for you after age 50?

I became more of myself! Which means I feel more freedom to simply be more me.

What would you tell the 20 or 30-year-old YOU?

You’re going to be really happy you started wearing daily sunscreen in your 20s. And do even more self-care because it’ll pay off big-time.

What do you think you’ll tell yourself in retrospect at the end of your life?

My goal is to tell myself that I left it all on the dance floor. There’s absolutely nothing to regret.

What impact do you think increased visibility can have on your business?

The impact would be more impact! Being more easily and widely seen allows me to connect with and serve more women.

Who or what inspires you and why?

Part of the reason I moved to Boulder, CO is how inspired I am by the boundless gorgeous nature and how much a part of daily life it becomes. The mountains inspire me daily!

Something else I’d like to share

Our truest power is being fully ourselves in front of other people. We get to show what we believe is possible rather than simply telling. Inspiring people inspire people.
