What changed for you after age 50?
What would you tell the 20 or 30-year-old YOU?
You are going to get everything you want and you are already creating the exact life you desire- just keep focusing on what you want and trust that the obstacles are part of the process preparing you for your future reality.
What do you think you’ll tell yourself in retrospect at the end of your life?
A life well-lived! You did everything you wanted, you mattered and made the impact you desired and you were the best you YOU could be! You are loved!
What impact do you think increased visibility can have on your business?
Visibility is a challenge for content or coaching-based businesses because only clients know what is going on inside the containers. The plan now is to expand the Ready for Love offerings to make courses more accessible. That makes our work more visible and then the company itself becomes more visible.
Who or what inspires you and why?
I’m always inspired by stories of people who have the most positive, determined, and enlightened mindset despite emerging from seemingly insurmountable circumstances.
“I often tell clients, you’re the problem, but that means you’re also the solution. That’s what I call the bitter pill and the magic pill at the same time… because you have the power to fix it. “

The Brief

Hitting the RESET button
When Hilary turned 50, she hit the RESET button. “When I hit 50, I decided to turn it off. Like I literally turned off a multimillion dollar a year company. I just walked away,” she shared. She then transitioned from a group coaching approach to one-on-one or small groups, allowing herself to rejuvenate and gain clarity about her next steps.
The evolution of Ready for Love, Inc.
In discussing the evolution of her company ‘Ready for Love’, Hilary is relaunching the company with a focus on a more founder-driven approach. After working with 1000s of clients, she is extracting herself from the coaching aspect. She’s looking for a CMO, somebody who can take over the marketing and allow her to step into the role of thought leader, take Ready for Love into the next phase, and make their groundbreaking work more accessible for all women, all ages, all income levels.
The role of self-worth in success
Hilary stressed the importance of self-worth in achieving success, particularly in relationships. She shared that high-achieving women often subconsciously struggle with low self-worth, which manifests in romantic relationships. “If there’s something that you’re trying to achieve and you something that you want, and it just continues to remain elusive, look no further than the mirror, because it’s always us,” she told the audience. This mindset shaped her approach to her coaching programs, where she seeks to empower her clients to take responsibility for their own progress and happiness.
Be sure to connect with Hilary at Ready for Love, Inc., and stay tuned, she has a lot in the works.
