About me
What do you do and why do you do it?
I am a podcast host/producer of The Empowerography Podcast, a platform created to help elevate and amplify the voices of women through sharing their stories. I am also a women’s empowerment photographer and Soul EmpowHERment Guide. It is so important to me because, for too long, women haven’t had a voice or a platform to share their voices on, and I think it’s important that I, being a man, am the host of a platform that does exactly that. It is time for women to rise up and be heard, and I am the perfect person to provide that space and platform for women. This is more than just a podcast, this is a global movement that we are building together.
What changed for you after age 50?
My whole life, because of this platform that I have had the honor and pleasure of building and creating. I am a completely different man from the one I was at 50, and a big part of that change, that growth, is because of the experience and honor of interviewing and speaking with 750+ women and sharing in their life journeys.
What would you tell the 20 or 30-year-old YOU?
Don’t worry, it’s all going to work out, and whatever is meant for you will NEVER go by you.
What do you think you’ll tell yourself in retrospect at the end of your life?
You did good, you made an impact in this world through your work, and I’m proud of you!
What impact do you think increased visibility can have on your business?
Visibility is EVERYTHING!
You need to be visible in your business in order to create relatability. People need to know who you are. I think it can skyrocket your business if you show up and be authentic. This will help to create opportunities.
Who or what inspires you and why?
My mother and my Nana because they are the first 2 examples in my life of strong women. Seeing what they went through in their lives inspires me and is the inspiration behind Empowerography.
