She is the creator of the Women’s Health Coach Specialist certification programs in perimenopause, menopause, endometriosis, longevity, and more, which have empowered 3500 graduates to bridge the gap between evidence-based lifestyle medicine and compassionate coaching.

What do you do and why do you do it?

I help women in perimenopause and menopause who are battling chronic illnesses—like long COVID, endometriosis, autoimmune diseases, hypermobility, POTS, and metabolic disorders—finally get the comprehensive, root-cause care they deserve. Through my company, The Integrative Women’s Health Institute, I provide a high-touch, healing and coaching approach that combines advanced testing, personalized nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and nervous system regulation to help women reclaim their energy, cognitive function, and vitality.

I also train and mentor women’s health professionals through The Integrative Women’s Health Institute, where I’ve educated over 3,500 graduates in functional nutrition and health coaching. My goal is to bridge the gap between conventional medicine and holistic, evidence-based strategies, so that more women can access the care they need to heal.

I do this work because I’ve seen firsthand how many women feel dismissed, exhausted, and stuck in cycles of trial and error when it comes to their health. So many of my clients are high-achieving women who have spent years looking for answers, only to be told their symptoms are “just part of aging” or “all in their head.” That’s not acceptable. Women deserve better—better science, better solutions, and better support.

My mission is to change the way women experience healthcare. I want them to feel empowered, understood, and equipped with the tools to not just survive but thrive during this critical phase of life. Whether I’m working one-on-one with a client, leading a program, or mentoring other health professionals, my goal is always the same: to provide the knowledge, strategies, and compassionate support that allow women to live the vibrant, active, fulfilling lives they deserve.

What changed for you after age 50?

A lot. I experienced my own serious and now chronic illness from age 46 to now. So, I have a real embodied understanding of ableism, the chronic illness experience, and the stress that can bring to whole family and community systems. I am more compassionate, more patient, and less focused on work.

What would you tell the 20 or 30-year-old YOU?

I have a 21 year old daughter who I am always nagging to save for retirement, and have a lot of fun. I would say similar things to myself. I have had a great life to this point, and I wouldn’t change any of it. But, if I could go back, I would slow down a bit, be more present to joy, be less focused on work, and more on nourishing my relationships. I would also deeply enjoy my young body. As healthy as I am now, it’s just not the same as when you’re in your 20’s or 30’s.

What do you think you’ll tell yourself in retrospect at the end of your life?

I hope that I will appreciate how lucky I was to have a great work life, wonderful friends all over the world, and a great family. I hope that I can say that I was more generous, and a bit more fun than I have been during this high achieving past 30 years when I was very focused on work.

What impact do you think increased visibility can have on your business?

I hope that we can reach more health and wellness professionals to show them that burnout is not required in our healing profession. We have the tools to reach so many women without exhausting ourselves now.

Who or what inspires you and why?

My daughters. They are both so unique, so different, and yet so loving – each in their own way.
