Host of the Good Girls Get Rich Podcast and LinkedIn Evangelist, Karen guides entrepreneurs to creating wealth by combining smart business practices with simple proven systems that develop and maintain strong customer relationships. She offers results-oriented and expert LinkedIn Marketing strategies that position her clients to bring in instant results. Karen’s background includes over twenty years in the fields of information technology, marketing, and customer relationships, making social media her ideal niche.
What do you do and why do you do it?
I teach women how to build a strong network of people and create a strong personal brand with LinkedIn and PR marketing. I do it because SO many women undervalue themselves and their amazing skills! I want women to OWN who they are and what makes them amazing and build profitable careers and businesses from that space. More wealthy women in the world is needed!
What changed for you after age 50?
For me, the older I get, the less I care about how old I am LOL. What I have, and what every single women over 5o has, is TONS of experience. F ageism! Create a great brand, stand out, and the right people will find and hire you.
What would you tell the 20 or 30-year-old YOU?
Take care of YOU. I had kids young and really have had almost no time in my life where I wasn’t responsible for the care of another human being. I didn’t realize how important I was in that process.
What do you think you’ll tell yourself in retrospect at the end of your life?
Just- relish and enjoy all the memories made with loved ones!
What impact do you think increased visibility can have on your business?
A ton of impact. The credibility piece that the RIGHT visibility gives us is overlooked. No visibility for the sake of visibility, but when you’re quoted as an expert by a credible source, people look at YOU as more credible and worthy of their investment.
Who or what inspires you and why?
My grandkids inspire me. I’ve got 3 granddaughters, one grandson, and another grandson on the way. I want to leave them a better world than the one we’re living in right now!

Embrace the age and experience, not the fear of starting something new
We talked about reinventing yourself in midlife. Let your wisdom and all of your experience shine, and do not let fear prevent starting something new.
Karen shared her personal journey of being divorced with four children and realizing the importance of allowing others to help. She encouraged listeners to be excited about their next chapter and to dream big.
Timeless marketing and relationships will always work
Then we dove into living and working, what’s changed and what never will. We have very similar businesses and values so this was a great discussion full of nuggets you will want to write down and adopt for your own.
The overall message was show up as YOU everywhere. Learn how to use the tools and own the parts that only you can do. Get help with the rest. Be authentic, build relationships. Your clients become your friends and your friends become your clients.

We know how to make people feel comfortable. Businesses should focus on creating genuine relationships, and success will naturally follow.”
We discussed the value of listening to what people are talking about and then creating products and services that they already want and need. Timeless marketing is basically a relationship… everything is based on relationships and communications.
How to leverage AI tools with timeless marketing
Of course, we had to talk about AI. We’re both evangelists. These new tools can streamline business processes, make it easier to delegate, and save time. Then the conversation turned to how to use them to get smarter.
But we agreed that AI tools are useful in ways we haven’t even considered yet, but should be used wisely and in a way that reflects your personality and business style.
