Michelle McGlade | The Real 50 over 50

About me

Michelle McGlade is a Strategic Leadership Advisor, Vistage Chair, and founder of CORIS, a private membership for women navigating what’s next in leadership, life, and self. She works with high-performing leaders who have outgrown the version of success they built and are ready to realign ambition with meaning.

With more than two decades of experience across financial services, healthcare, construction, and telecommunications, Michelle has built award-winning businesses, led complex partnerships, and guided executives through pivotal growth and transition moments. Known for her ability to see patterns quickly and simplify complexity, she helps leaders reconnect the heart and the mind so decisions are both clear and courageous.

Michelle is a former financial analyst, Six Sigma Green Belt, and a 2019 Woman to Watch. Whether in the boardroom or on stage, her work changes how leaders think, ask questions, and lead — from the inside out.

What do you do and why do you do it?

I work with leaders—particularly high-performing women—who have reached a point where “successful” no longer feels sufficient. CEOs, founders, and executives who are trusted, capable, and respected, yet sense an internal shift asking for something more aligned, more intentional, more honest.

My work helps leaders reconnect the head and the heart, see where they’ve outgrown old definitions of success, and make courageous, well-considered moves without waiting for certainty or permission. I believe the most powerful leadership doesn’t come from having all the answers—it comes from clarity, self-trust, and the willingness to lead from within.

What changed for you after age 50?

More patience, less expectation, and no longer willing to tolerate.

What would you tell the 20 or 30-year-old YOU?

I’m proud of you.

What impact do you think increased visibility can have on your business?

More impact, lead gen for sure, also credibility building.

Who or what inspires you and why?

I get inspiration in the quiet, especially in nature!
