What do you do and why do you do it?

The world needs leaders – leaders who connect with their heart and are excited to drive positive change. In spite of being so accomplished, many of us still struggle with the courage to step into visibility with our dreams, our creativity, our VOICE and our mission. The problem is that most of us get stuck and after our confidence takes a hit, we become unable to take meaningful action. When you have someone to show you how to address the blocks in your way, your confidence grows, your business grows and you become unstoppable.

What changed for you after age 50?

For years, I did everything I needed to do in order to grow a profitable business, to“be marketable,” and to “be successful.” I was working 60+ hours a week, exhausting myself, and still not experiencing a sense of success. I had this persistent ache inside of me, a whisper that ended up as a yell– THIS ISN’T THE RIGHT PATH.

Once I hit burnout, – very close to 50- I had to start realigning everything and learn a whole other way of setting goals and priorities. I discovered that building a business in total alignment with your highest values, with less hustle and more ease sets you free to be all of who you really are in your business AND life. Now I can’t wait to share that message and that possibility with others.

What would you tell the 20 or 30-year-old YOU?

If I could go back and share some hard-earned wisdom with my 20 or 30-year-old self, it would be this: embrace failure as a stepping stone to success.

In a world that often shies away from failure, remember that it’s not the end but a crucial part of the journey. Avoiding failure might seem like playing it safe, but it’s the risks we take that make the magic happen in life. Most people avoid failure at all costs, which keeps them in their comfort zones and prevents them from taking risks toward the goals they desire. But fear kills more dreams than failure ever will.

Dreams thrive in the audacity of risk-taking.

P.S. You’re doing great 🙂

What do you think you’ll tell yourself in retrospect at the end of your life?

Your legacy is not the sum of achievements but the echo of the love and passion you’ve sown into the world. The memories created, the places explored, and the lives touched hold greater value than anything. I’ve lived with intention, I’ve loved deeply, and I’ve savored as much as possible- that is all that matters.

What impact do you think increased visibility can have on your business?

There is no point being brilliant at what you do if it’s the best-kept secret in the world! Improved visibility opens doors to valuable networking opportunities, the chance to connect with people we love, and create abundance. By stepping into the spotlight, we’re not just pushing our own businesses forward; we’re igniting a larger vision: a thriving community of visionary entrepreneurs creating meaningful impact.

Who or what inspires you and why?

“It’s very hard to put yourself out there; it’s very hard to be vulnerable. But those people who do that are the dreamers, the thinkers, and the creators. They are the magic people of the world.” — Amy Poehler
